Forum Post: RE: Linux/AM5716: Rootfs in ramdisk doesn't mount
Hi Tsvetolin Shulev, Can you kindly share me a compact tiny file system which I can use directly to boot linux kernel on the custom board with AM5716 . File system supplied with TI's latest SDK is large and it takes lot of time to transfer it via UART to RAM for booting. So I am looking for small filesystem. I tried creating a small RootFS of size less than 3MB using busybox, but I am getting Wrong Ramdisk Image Format error. Regards, Nithin

Forum Post: RE: Linux/AM3354: NAND reboot fails after writing data
I noticed that there are backup parititions for MLO. which the ROM can access in case the major MLO partition is empty so i programmed the nand flash with the address 0x20000 0x40000 0x60000 for backup SPLs. don't know if this will work.

Forum Post: Linux/TDA2P-ACD: Building "tda2px_evm_bios_all" configuration in Ubuntu 16.04 machine for TDA2px
Part Number: TDA2P-ACD Tool/software: Linux Hello all, We want to build the Processor SDK 03.02 for "tda2px_evm_bios_all" configuration in Ubuntu 16.04 machine. We have GNU arm embedded toolchain linux installation tarball ' gcc-arm-none-eabi-4_2015q3-20150921-linux.tar.bz2' and extracted it to the path "PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_02_00_00\ti_components\cg_tools\linux". Is this correct way to do this? If not what all do we need to do to successfully build Processor SDK for "tda2px_evm_bios_all" configuration in Ubuntu 16.04 machine. Regards Rishabh

Forum Post: Linux/AM4378: uEnv.txt issue
Part Number: AM4378 Tool/software: Linux Hi, We are booting linux kernel version am437x-evm 4.9.28-geed43d1050 through an external sd card on a am4378 board. We want to make certain pins pull down as soon as possible after power up. So we are trying to use the omap_mux kernel parameter to set those pins (similar to method 2 in ). We are modifying omap_mux and other boot parameters through uEnv.txt file (attached). Some of these parameters (console, mmcroot) are being set correctly but a few others either aren't being set or have no effect on the boot process (omap_mux, devicetree). We are checking this through print bootargs as well as through /proc/cmdline. Why is this happening? And what is the correct way to deal with it?(Please visit the site to view this file)

Forum Post: RE: Linux/dra726: Problem getting MCP25625 seen on Linux
Michel, From your logs it looks to me that the mcspi driver isn't being registered, mostly because its being disabled in the device-tree. You need to explicitly enable it in your device-tree. Please include the below entry in the device-tree you're using. &mcspi1 { status = "okay"; }; Regards Shravan

Hi, WinCE is not supported by TI. Please contact the BSP vendor for support. Aside from that, the ID pin must be tied low for USB Host mode. See processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_Schematic_Checklist
