For two year, this question is still unanswered? (I am wondering !!)
I am having the same problem, if you got answer, please let me know - appreciated.
The evm runs the Android and Linux SD that came with the package without any problem, and we have been building a significant number of pilot units based on AM335x, but based on either a more rigid in-house or third party plateform. I thought it will be good to build on CCS and get more flexibility and options, and leverage on starterware. But it just does not work. I followed the exact steps in quickstart guide and "booting and flashing", the evm does not boot, On the hyperterminal, it prints CCCCCC(pause a few minutes)CCCCCC(Pause)... I don't know what it's doing.
With the same setup and the same SD, I copied the Android files onto the SD, it boots with no problem.
So either TI's starter guide is incorrect, or the starterware files are incorrect. Whatever it is, i am surprise TI has not updated the online document for two years!!
TI support team, any help?
