Hi Andreas, Thank you for the detailed information. I understood all the inputs provided by you. Just need to get further information regarding coping kernel logs into the file: One possible way suggested is "dmesg > kernel.log" Is there any other way, like updating configuration file in the "/etc" directory in which path of the file [say "kernel.log"] can be provided and logs will be updated in this file on boot up without additional "dmesg" command. - I found that "/etc/rsyslog.conf" file contains such configuration, but this file is not available in my "/etc" directory but available in the Ubuntu 16.04 based system.
