Roman, You root filesystem doesn't have udev support, right? without udev support kernel modules will not be loaded automatically. With your current setup, please run command 'modprobe musb_am335x' after linux is booted, then provide its console log and the output of lsmod command, and output of the new version of chkusb.sh attached below.
