Forum Post: RTC clock drift

Hello World!

My RTC is running a few second slow each hour, could some one please explain why and how to tweak any S/W or H/W parameter to compensate/calibrate this drift timer?

My Linux timer is running slower also, but I know I can adjust that with cron job on adjtimex, etc... but I understand that the hwclock need to be fixed with kernel RTC tweak ??

Here is the dmesg clock, if that help. Thanks!
