Hi,
I want to download some GNU C code to AM335x starter kit and debug.I connect Ubuntu and SKAM335x with USB cable (I add the Ethernet cable to SKAM335x to router or not has no difference):
Now, it is found that the XDS100v2 does not pass "Test Connection |at the Target Connection|:
-----[An error has occurred and this utility has aborted]--------------------
This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-154' (0xffffff66).
The title is 'SC_ERR_FTDI_WRITE'.
At the same time, the Ethernet Connection at the Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bit icon pops up saying disconnect.
I do not see any manual switch on this kit for boot mode selection. Do my settings wrong or right ?
How to set the SKAM335x for a bare metal GNU C program debug with XDS100?
BTW, the kit does pass the TFTP connection with Ubuntu 12.04 boot up before. But I am interested in low level code optimization now. Is it possible to debug C and assembly code on this kit?
Thanks,
